They wanted to replace my transmission again...( the fourth time in a year.) Because it was leaking...took it to a different shop right after...they diagnosed it...the transmission was good...the pans bolts needed tightening...ya gotta wonder if the previous 3 transmissions were also an easy fix?
Stephanie, although we appreciate your feedback I would like to get some facts straight. Your vehicle has a 18 month warranty through your car dealership that we honor per there approval. We give definitive evidence of failure to a warranty company before a repair would ever be approved. If you have questions regarding your warranty please refer to your warranty company. ( THE BACK STORY) You drive lift for a living and put 5 times the amount of miles the average driver puts on there vehicle. Your transmission due to neglected leaks has been damaged three times and replaced by your warranty company per there approval and request. The last time you made an appointment to inspect your latest transmission we updated your warranty company of your pan gasket leak, your case half leak, both cv axle seal and tail shaft leak. The diagnosis on your transmission was that due to low fluid level transmission would not shift correctly, and that your leaks must be repaired first before re - testing the AT unit. The current claim was denied by your warranty company, and that is why we did not repair your leaks. Do you recall, that your request that morning was to tell your warranty company you need ANOTHER transmission, so that you could be put into a new vehicle. Sheridan Auto Tech will never LIE to, or for our customers. We take pride in our integrity, and honesty. Thank you for the opportunity to explain.
